Sadie Mae Washington was born on July 1, 1961 in Savannah, Georgia.

She was the daughter to the late William and Viola Washington. She was the 2nd youngest out of eight. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Sr. and Viola, two brothers William Jr & Rodney, three sisters Beatrice, Gail, & Bernice, a great granddaughter, Ariyah
She graduated from Groves High School. She sung a joyful song unto the lord at New Hope Baptist Church.

On Tuesday, November 16, 2021, Sadie Mae entered eternal rest.

Her memory will continue on thru her two daughters, Renee (Tyrone) and Latonya, two grandsons Taverius and Jashawn, two granddaughters Janai and Tylea, two great grandson Taverius Jr and Tavarus two brothers Ashley and Tony(Josephine) one sister Marcella Owens all from Savannah Ga. three Aunts Maggie Weaver of Suffolk Va., Martha Jones of  Rockhill, SC and Ella Mae Sykes of Miami Fl, two uncles George Singleton and Joseph Washington Savannah, Ga; A special friend Willie Joe Williams, A host of nieces, nephews, and other family

Public viewing will be held 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2021 in the Chapel of Campbell & Sons Funeral Home, 124 West Park Ave., Savannah, GA. 31401. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Woodville Cemetery, 125 Spring Street, Savannah, GA. 31408.
