God must have looked down from heaven and he saw that Pauline soul was tired; And then he looked at the record and saw that her work was well done . Then he sent his guiding Angel just to carry her soul on home.
Born Into Eternity ~ July 2, 2021
In the City of Savannah, Georgia, the late Ulysses Loadholt Sr. and Reatha Mae Loadholt were blessed with the birth of their second child, Pauline on April 28, 1940.
Pauline accepted Christ at an early age. She was educated in the Savannah Chatham County Public School System.
Pauline joined together in Holy Matrimony on April 15, 1956 to the late Mr. Verdell Beckett Sr., and to this union, six loving children were born; of which two proceeded her in death, Jonathan and Pearline Beckett; she was also proceeded in death by a great granddaughter; Diamond Dixon; a sister, Vernell Lovett; and three brothers, Clyde, Albert and Ulysses (Jr.) Loadholt.
Pauline made her transition from this life of uncertainly into everlasting joy, peace, and tranquility on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 7:30am at home in Savannah, Georgia.
Pauline leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her fond memories, four sons, Verdell Jr and Wendell Beckett both of Atlanta, Georgia; Kendell and Anthony Beckett both of Savannah, Georgia; six grandchildren, Wendell Beckett Jr.; Latoya (Dave) Ockletree, Jaleesa (John) Moody, and Janice Beckett; five great grandchildren, Zoey and Keith Dixon, Jonah, Jacoby, and Jalen Moody; two sisters, Betty Loadholt and Barbara Loadholt Brown both of Savannah, Georgia; a special nephew, Lorenzo Loadholt of Atlanta, Georgia; A Special daughter, Cindy Perry Williams; one sister –in-love, Dorothy Lee of Savannah, Georgia; one uncle, Willie Fields of Greenwood, South Carolina; a host of Loving and Devoted nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Public viewing will be held 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 9, 2021 in the Chapel of Campbell & Sons Funeral Home, 124 W. Park Ave., Savannah, GA. 31401. Graveside services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Woodville Cemetery, 125 Spring Street, Savannah, GA. 31408.
