Ivory L. Smith Washington, “Big Duke”, was born on August 2, 1977 to the late Mr. Charles Miller and her mother Barbara Ann Wiggins in Savannah, Ga.
She was educated in the Chatham County School System. She later attended Virginia College. Her profession was an Operator. Sis Ivory was a sweet, kind, and loving person. She was raised in West Savannah. Ivory was loved and respected by family and friends.
On July 10, 2021, Ivory completed her earthly course; trusting God while keeping Faith.
Ivory leaves to cherish and mourn her memory her husband, Vernon Washington, three beautiful children, Devario Davis, Lamar Smith, and Amani Smith, three grandchildren, Mason Samuel Davis, Devario Parrish, and Parrish Miller, her beautiful mother, Barbara Ann Wiggins (Lamar Wiggins), sisters and brothers, Charles Miller, Tiffany Miller, James Smith, Johnny Miller, ShaTasha Willis, and Teaurean Youmans, two devoted friends, Drena “Piglet” Reese and Bo “Homeboy”, four stepchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Public viewing will be held 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 15, 2021 in the Chapel of Campbell & Sons Funeral Home, 124 W. Park Ave., Savannah, GA. 31401. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 16, 2021 at Bonaventure Cemetery (Greenwich Section) 330 Bonaventure Road, Thunderbolt, GA. 31404.
