Gloria Evangeline Parker (née-Jackson) was born in Society Hill, South Carolina to Joseph and Lillie Jackson. As the firstborn of six children Gloria helped raise her 5 siblings when they moved to Ohio after the untimely death of her parents. There she met and married Elmer Bryce Parker, and raised five children of her own with him.
She became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses as a teen. She loved and faithfully served Jehovah until her death.
After retiring from the Columbus school system in 2017, Gloria moved to Savannah Georgia where she spent her time entertaining friends and caring for her husband until his death.
Gloria was best known for her fashion, love for dancing and travel. She was equally well-known for her avid fishing, energetic and vibrant character, and her zeal for life, laughter and family. Gloria was a mother to many, and willingly shared her home and her heart with those in need of comfort and support. Her Impact is tremendous. he will be missed.
On Saturday, October 2, 2021, Gloria Evangeline Jackson Parker entered eternal rest at her residence.
Gloria is survived by her children daughter Tiffany Parker -Llanos (Jorge),Bryce, Chad (Rebecca)Timothy (Jennifer),and Brandon (Tiffany).Grandsons Khai, Landon, Jaxson, Bryson, and Nolan. Granddaughters Kanai, Tattiana, Naveah, Leila and Savannah and Great granddaughter Kailand. Sister Cheryl Jackson and brother Ronald Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
