Corey Lamont Brunswick aka “Lostyle” was born to Joseph A. Grant Sr. (Deceased) and Carolyn Brunswick on March 17, 1975 in Savannah Ga.
Corey received Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at a very young age. He was baptized at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Archie Fields. He attended Mount Herman Baptist Church until he relocated to Miami Florida.
Corey attended Chatham county public schools and was a graduate of Sol. C. Johnson High School where he was a member of the band, he was an astounding drummer, songwriter and beat composer. Corey was employed as a warehouse worker.
On July 8, 2021 Corey got his heavenly wings. Waiting to greet and celebrate his homecoming , his maternal grandparents Alfred Williams and Florence Simmons, paternal grandparents, Moses Sr. and Odessa Grant, father, Joseph Grant Sr., brother, Larry Copeland, stepfather, Earl Smith Sr., two aunts, two uncles and three cousins.
Left to cherish Corey's memories are his loving mother, Carolyn Smith, two sisters, Earlissa Seabrain (Elijah) of Savannah, GA, and Mary Thomas (Alvin) of Snellville, GA., three brothers, Anthony Smith (Claudeth) of Miami, FL, Earl Smith Jr. ( Peggy) of Miami, FL., and Vincent Roberson (Teolethia) of Savannah GA., and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Public viewing will be held 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021 in the chapel of Campbell & Sons Funeral Home, 124 West Park Ave., Savannah, GA. 31401. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 23, 2021 at Kingdom Life Christian Fellowship, 425 West Montgomery Crossroads, Savannah, GA. 31406. Interment ~ Oak Grove Cemetery, 52nd Street & Skidaway Road, Savannah, GA. 31404.
