We celebrate the life and memory of Mrs. Marie Deloris Mack Ingram whose death occurred on Friday, February 14, 2020 at her residence.
Marie Mack Ingram, third child of Reid and Rosa Mack was born May 5, 1931 in Savannah, Georgia. She graduated from Mather School (Beaufort, SC) and Savannah State College respectively. Her life was spectacular. She was known widely outside her church, neighbors, and friends. And she loves Jesus, her two children, and her two grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She laughed easily, served generously and loved traveling and singing on the choir.
She married Robert N. Ingram in 1954 and to this union two children were born - Rosemarie and Leslie. Robert and Leslie preceded her in death.
She was an educator of the Savannah-Chatham Public School System, Catholic Schools of Savannah, Coastal Correctional Institute, and Effingham County Public School System while working for Hyatt Regency of Savannah as a seamstress. During her career she inspired many lives and she rocked Proverbs 31 because she cared. She cared for others.
She was a communicant of St. Benedict the Moor, Most Pure Heart of Mary and Resurrection of Our Lord where she served on a few ministries for the churches. While at Most Pure Heart of Mary, she was a member of St. Martin DePorres Auxiliary. She helped organize many bus trips to The Passion Play in Atlanta and served on the Liturgy committee at Resurrection of Our Lord until she was unable to serve.
She is survived by a loving and devoted daughter: Rosemarie Ingram-Kinsey; two grandsons: Justin L. Kinsey (Tiffanie) of Orlando, FL and Joseph R. Kinsey of Columbia, SC; four great-grandchildren: Ka’Siah Kinsey of Savannah, GA, Jadynn, Israel and Raegan Kinsey all of Orlando, FL: her bonus children: Antoinette Layne (George) and Darrell Jordan (Lucy) both of Savannah, GA and special grandchildren: Malik Walker, Tysheena J. Gordan, Nastajjah Jordan and Tatianna Jordan and several other relatives and many friends.
