We celebrate the life and memory of Mr. Levan Williams whose death occurred Saturday, January 9, 2021 at his residence under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc.
On Saturday January 9, 2021, Levan Williams was called home to be with the Lord. Born on April 12, 1943, in Girard, GA to the late Evangelist Willie Mae Williams and Mr. Robert Lee Stewart, Levan entered the world and made his mark on everyone that he met over the course of his 77 years. He was preceded in death by his two sons, Ricky Wilcox and Twyan Williams; and his sister and brother, Elizabeth Savage and Robert Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted wife of 39 years, Barbara Williams; two daughters, Jackie (Bernard) Johnson, of Rincon, GA, and Sherese L. Williams of Chattanooga, TN; one son, Levan Maurice Williams, of Hinesville, GA; mother-in-law, Ella Mae Jackson of Savannah, GA; six sisters-in-law, Marcia Williams, Charleston, SC, Janice Gibbons (Pastor Larry Gibbons), Savannah, GA, Jacqueline Jackson, Atlanta, GA, Mary Jackson, Savannah, GA, and LaShon Jackson, Atlanta, GA; three brothers-in-law, Charles Jackson, Michael Jackson, and Gregory (Kim) Jackson, all of Savannah, GA; six grandchildren; Samuel (Chelsea) McCombs, Jazmine McCombs, Naudica Johnson, Antwaynnette Williams, Sean Coleman, and Savannah Williams; eight great-grandchildren, twenty-three nieces and nephews and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews and dedicated family, friends, and Ms. Bridgette Riou.
Public viewing will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at Campbell & Sons Funeral Home (124 W. Park Ave. Savannah, GA)
Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Bonaventure Cemetery (Greenwich Section) (330 Bonaventure Rd. Savannah, GA)
