John David Glover was born January 5, 1966 to the late Rosa Brown Glover and Frank Eugene Glover, Sr. in Savannah, Georgia. John was educated in the Savannah - Chatham County School System and was a proud graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School (class of 1984). After graduation, John worked with his father Frank in the family business as a master brick mason. Through hard work and skilled craftsmanship, he grew the business into Glover’s Masonry, Inc. and became a subcontractor for residential and commercial construction.
On August 3, 1999, John was joined in Holy Matrimony to Cynthia Mitchell, and this union brought forth one daughter: Adrienne Johnnae. John responded to the call of Deaconship at First Ebenezer Baptist Church, an office in which he dutifully served there and at later at Second African Baptist Church.
On January 5, 2021, John was called from earthly labor to eternal rest. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his devoted wife Cynthia Mitchell Glover, his daughter Adrienne Johnnae Glover, two sisters: Rose Marie Hall and Theresa Fields (Barry) of Savannah, Georgia; three brothers: Frank Eugene Glover, Sr. (Marsha) of Albany, Georgia; Charles Ashley Glover, Sr. (Brenda) of Cordele, Georgia; and Richard William Glover (Millicent) of Savannah, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
