John Seabrook Jr

We celebrate the life and memory of Mr. John Seabrook Jr. 

John Searbrook, Jr. was born on June 14, 1940 in Pritchardville, SC. He was the only son of Nettie Bell Jones-Seabrook and John Seabrook, Sr. who preceded him in death. He attended the public schools of Chatham County and was a 1959 graduate of A. E. Beach High School.

He was a member of St. James A.M.E. Church. A devoted member of his church. He was a member of the Sons of Allen for many years. He was employed by the International Longshoreman Association (ILA) Local 1414 and retired after many years of service. Outside of work, John loved to fish and play Checkers and Cards in the Bolton Street Lane. He was a loving father and friend.

On, February 3, 2021 he entered into eternal rest at Memorial University Medical Center, Savannah, GA.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Nettie Lynn (Fernando Stevens) Seabrook, sons, Mark T. Seabrook and Abraham (Antionette) Seabrook, six grandchildren,   eleven great grandchildren, one special great grandson, Rashean Brown, Jr., one great great grandchild, special friend, Annabelle Fields, special cousins, Shirley McCloud, Ethel Simuel, Daniel Brown, and Alvernia Jackson, and a host of other relatives and friends.


Public Viewing will be held Monday, February 08, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Campbell and Sons Funeral Home (124 W. Park Ave. Savannah, GA 31401).

Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 09, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery (Arcadian Street Entrance) .
