Jason L Parrish

February 1, 2021

We celebrate the life and memory of Mr. Jason L. Parrish whose death occurred on Monday, February 1, 2021 .

Jason Lamont Parrish departed this life on February 1, 2021. He was born on April 6, 1974 in Savannah, GA to Betty Perry and Theodore Parrish Sr. and was preceded in death by his grandmothers’,Viola Jackson and Feodosher Mainor; and his grandfather, Chris Mainor.

Jason proudly served his country in the United States Air Force Reserve for three years. He had a dream that was developed during his childhood of becoming a “trucker.  His dream was fulfilled when he became employed at US Foods as a driver in which he dedicated 19 years of hard work and loyalty. Although he loved his work, he decided to retire from US Foods to start his own trucking business that he thoroughly enjoyed.

Jason left a smile with everyone that crossed his path and will be remembered as a loving, compassionate husband and father with the largest and most infectious smile. He loved to travel, tell jokes, laugh, never met a stranger, and was always the life of the party; especially when it came to his love for the Dallas Cowboys.

Although this is a moment that is hard to understand and even accept as being a reality, Jason will always have a place in the heart of those who loved him.  The healing will not be easy; but the moments shared with him will always be unforgettable.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Talecisha Parrish, four children Avery, Avis, and Ayanna Parrish and Jordyn Jeanty, three step-children he gained through his union with his loving wife, Jamari, Jamiya, and Jaylen Rucker, a sister Tevia Parrish, and two brothers Theodore Parrish and Darnell Harris; and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Public viewing will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 at Campbell and Sons Funeral Home (124 W. Park Ave. Savannah, GA 31401).

Services are private.
