Obituary

We celebrate the life and memory of Elder Paul Gamble whose death occurred on  Friday, June 26, 2020 at his residence.

Elder Paul Gamble was born November 11, 1931 in Ludowici, GA to late Frank and Janie (Wilcox) Gamble.

His Early Education was received in the Long County Public School System. After completing the 8th grade, he went into the fields, to work, to help his mother take care of his siblings.

At an early age, Elder Gamble accepted Christ as his personal Savior under the leadership of Bishop Solomon Bennett.

At the age of 18 he severed in the United States Army.

In May of 1953, he met Albertha Frazier and married her August 9th of the same year. From this union nine beautiful children were born. They resided in Brooklyn, New York and attended Kelley’s Temple Church of Christ Holiness Unto the Lord where he served as Chairman Deacon for many years.

Elder Gamble was a man of many talents. He was one of the founding members of the Golden Travelers of Brooklyn, New York. They traveled the world spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through song.  In 1986, the group was called into ministry and opened up The America Come Back to God Evangelistic Center Church. He was also a graduating student of the America Come Back To God Bible Institute.

In 1996, he retired to Georgia. He was called into ministry and became an ordained minister and soon after was asked to Pastor America Come Back To God in Ludowici, Georgia, under the late Bishop Wallace Furrs.

Elder Gamble was a REAL family man. He truly supported and adored his family. Whatever the event he was there, graduation, wedding, baby shower, you name it! He was very encouraging, strong, faithful, loving, generous, well-mannered, and wise.

Answering the Lord’s call Home, Elder Gamble’s beautiful spirit is now resting in external freedom and he leaves to cherish his extraordinary and loving memories:
