Deacon William Earl Hazzard

July 14, 1948 ~ September 26, 2021 (age 73)


We celebrate the life and memory of Deacon William Earl Hazzard whose death occurred Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

William leaves to cherish his legacy a devoted and loving wife, Maryann Burnett Hazzard of Savannah, Georgia; four daughters, Monique Hazzard-Robinson (Omar) of Savannah, Georgia, Marquita Freeman (Roderick) of Buford, Georgia; Wakisha E. Hazzard of Birmingham, Alabama; and Dominique D. Hazzard of Lawrenceville, Georgia; one sister, Carolyn Stafford of Savannah, Georgia; three grandchildren, Henry Robinson of Savannah, Georgia, William Robinson of Arlington, Virginia, and Mason Freeman of Buford, Georgia, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Public viewing will be held 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 in the chapel of Campbell & Sons Funeral Home, 124 West Park Ave., Savannah, GA. 31401. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Jesus First The Community Church, 2202 US Hwy 80 West, Garden City, GA. 31408. Interment ~ Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery, 1336 Dean Forest Road, Savannah, GA. 31405.
