Charlesetta Roberson

Obituary

Ms. Charlesetta Roberson was born on August 15, 1944 in Savannah Georgia to Ms. Bessie Anderson and Mr. Joseph Lamar Sr. who both preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by two brothers Joseph Lamar. Jr and James Lamar.

She is a 1964 graduate of Alfred Ely Beach High School. She is a member of First Tabernacle Missionary  Baptist church. She held numerous positions, most notably homemaker but eventually returned to Hunter Army Airfield PX where she worked as an Administrative assistant until she retired in August of 2009. On April 5, 2021, she was called to eternal rest.

She is survived by; three sons: Mr. William Roberson (LaToya), Mr. Jimmie Roberson Jr., and Mr. Tyrone  Roberson all of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters: Ms. Stephanie Roberson of Savannah, Georgia, and Mrs. Trina Roberson-Germany (Kenneth) of Augusta, Georgia.; one brother: Mr. Freddie Lamar of Savannah Georgia; one sister: Ms. Betty Lamar, Twelve grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021 in the Chapel of Campbell and Sons Funeral Home, 124 W. Park Avenue, Savannah, Ga. Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Savannah, GA.
