We celebrate the life and memory of Mr. Cedric L. Holmes whose death occurred Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Mr. Cedric Lamar Holmes, born September 24, 1964 to James C. and Barbara J. Holmes.
He attended the local elementary and middle schools and graduated from A. E. Beach High School. He was a member of the Temple of Glory Church.
He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those that needed him. Cedric was a jack of all trades and was well known as a “Grill Master.”
He was a veteran Truck Driver and owner of HOJO Trucking Company.
He was preceded in death by his father Mr. James C. Holmes.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother, Barbara J. Holmes; daughters: Shedrica Holmes, Shamekia Holmes, both of Chattanooga, TN; granddaughter, Serenity Neal, Chattanooga, TN, Brothers: Raymont (Nicole) Holmes, Savannah, Cleavon(Andrea)Holmes Atlanta, Ga. Aunts: Virginia Smith ,Dorothy Zeigler ,Patricia Lovett All of Savannah, Ga. Alice Law Pompano Beach, FL. , Betty Walker Poughkeepsie , NY, Alice Holmes, Atlanta, Elouise Holmes, Savannah; Uncles: Gordon Holmes, Walton Lovett, of Savannah, James Law Pompano Beach, FL. Special Aunt Joyce Jones; four nieces, one nephew, Cousins and Friends.
Public viewing will be held 5-7p.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 at Campbell & Sons Funeral Home (124 W. Park Ave. Savannah, GA)
Graveside service will be held 12 noon November 7, 2020 at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery (HHAF Savannah, GA)
