Milroy
Dacosta
May 14, 1974 — Feb 19, 2026
Savannah
With profound sadness and our hope in the promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of Milroy DaCosta.
Milroy was a devoted husband, loving father, faithful Catholic, and dedicated professional whose life was grounded in faith, integrity, and quiet strength. He lived with purpose and great humility, guided by his love for God and his unwavering commitment to his family.
Milroy earned his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Goa Engineering College and built a distinguished career in IT management with AT&T where he worked for several years. He was respected for his expertise, professionalism, and strong work ethic. His colleagues admired his reliability and thoughtful approach to both challenges and teamwork.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Karyn Cotta, and their two cherished children, Kaelyn and Keith Da Costa. He is the son of late Jose Paulo and Georgina, brother of Queency/Cajetan and Delano, son-in-law of Savio/Laurita and brother-in-law of Tanula/Allen, Anisha/Rodrigo.
Ever present at soccer tournaments and track meets, his children never doubted his support. A passionatebeliever in education, he encouraged them to excelacademically. His love of the outdoors could be seen in his many trips paddling the rivers of Georgia's beautiful coast, camping the wilderness of North Georgia with his wife, biking, and his newest hobby playing pickleball. One of his favorite things to do was shopping with Kaelyn. For him family came first and that was everything!
Milroy's greatest accomplishment was the love he poured into his family, providing guidance, wisdom, and steadfast support.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in knowing that Milroy now rests in the peace of Christ. His legacy of faith, love, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
May perpetual light shine upon him, and may he rest in eternal peace.
His viewing(10 am) and funeral(11 am) mass will be held on Wednesday February 25, 2026 at St. James the Less Catholic Church Savannah Ga.
