In Loving Memory of Matthew David Mobley Sr.

February 10, 1994 – June 30, 2025

Born to Mara Mobley and the late Matthew Mobley, Matthew David Mobley Sr. was a beloved son, father, brother, fiancé, uncle, and friend whose presence brought warmth, joy, and laughter to everyone blessed to know him.

He leaves behind four beautiful children—Matthew Jr., Malachi, Macklin, and Malani Mobley—who will carry his spirit and strength forward. He was engaged to Alexandria Clay, his partner in life and love.

Matthew is survived by his sisters: Maria Mobley, Marcia Mobley Nelson (wife of Lewis Nelson), Michelle Devine (wife of Rafee Devine), and Tiffany Preston. As an uncle to nine nieces and nephews, and a cousin to many on both sides of his family, Matthew's impact reached far and wide.

Matthew had a rare light within him. His love, his laughter, and his humor could shift the mood of a room in an instant. He had the gift of bringing people together and lifting spirits with nothing more than his presence. And when it came to the grill—whether steak, chicken, or pineapples—Matthew was a true artist, turning every cookout into a moment of joy.

Though he has left this world, his soul continues to live on in all of us. Let us remember him when we need to smile. Let us feel his presence when we need strength. And may we always act with the same love he so freely gave.

Forever in our hearts.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 12:00pm at Campbell and Sons Funeral Home, 2520 Bonaventure Road, Savannah, GA 31404.
