We celebrate the life and memory of Mrs. Eddye Jean (White) Mathis whose death occurred on Friday, July 12, 2024, at her residence.

Mrs. Eddeye Jean White Mathis was born in North Carolina on June 3rd, 1943, to July 12th, 2024, she obtained her master's degree in social work. After she received her master's in social work; she gained a position working at the Liberty County Department of Children and Family Services where she dedicated her life to helping children and families live better lives. Mrs. Mathis was a loving mother, sister, aunt, friend, and worker who believed in education and the value of hard work, and never giving up. She is Survived by her husband Marion Tom Mathis, daughter Jessica Marie
Mathis her stepdaughter Leslie Mathis, stepson Tom Mathis, and her niece Alison James. We love you and will miss you.

A memorial celebration will be held 10:00 a.m. ~ 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2024, at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 1401 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Savannah, GA 31401.
