Ms. Betty Ann Bynes was born on February 17th, 1963 to Ms. Maggie Williams and Habersham Bynes. Betty, age 62, entered eternal rest on Friday, November 21st, 2025 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was known for her kindness, strong spirit, and the way she uplifted everyone around her. She lived a life filled with love, purpose, and laughter.

She was a lifelong native of Savannah, Georgia. Betty attended Sol. C. Johnson High School and Savannah Technical College where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Education. Betty devoted many years of her life to teaching, touching countless young minds with her patience, warmth, and passion for education. She was a loving daughter, a devoted mother, and a cherished friend to many, known for her vibrant personality, sense of humor and infectious laughter, she brought joy everywhere she went. Her cooking was a comfort to all who gathered at her table, and her presence was truly a blessing to everyone who knew her.

Outside of work, Betty's true passion was her family. She raised her children with strength, tenderness, and humor, standing by them through every high and low. She taught them to believe in themselves and to treat others with kindness. Her children were her greatest pride and she loved them deeply and without limits. Betty could brighten even the darkest day with her jokes, her stories, or simply her warm presence.

She leaves behind a beautiful example of what it means to live fully, love deeply, and uplift others without hesitation. Her family finds comfort in knowing she has taken her rest and that her light will continue to shine through her children, her teachings, and memories she leaves behind. Betty grew to be one who met every challenge with grace and every blessing with gratitude.

She is preceded in death by her daddy, Habersham Bynes, her brother Joseph Bostick, and her sister, Vera Bostick-Brown.
