Benjamin
Reese
Dec 6, 1992 — Jun 23, 2025
Benjamin Ar'Shon Reese was born on December 6, 1992, and departed this life far too soon on June 23, 2025, at the age of 32. A devoted husband, dedicated father, loving son and brother, and hardworking entrepreneur, Benjamin leaves behind a legacy rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering commitment to family.
He was the beloved husband of nearly seven years to Miriam Reese, who he cherished beyond measure and treated like a queen. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with joy, strength, and the blessing of five incredible sons: Carter (10), Cyro (6), twins Cyler and Car'Ri (3), and Calix (15 months). Benjamin was a present and active father—ready to love, guide, play, and grow alongside his children.
A self-made man, he was the proud owner of MCC Trucking LLC, a business he built with heart and hard work. He also served nearly a decade as a dedicated tanker driver for the Kenan Advantage Group in Doraville, Georgia. His strong work ethic and integrity made him a role model in both business and family life.
He had a deep love for cooking, often picking up the phone to ask for cherished family recipes—okra stew being a particular favorite. His laughter was infectious, his sense of humor unmatched, and his presence brought warmth and joy to every room.
Benjamin was a devoted and loving son to Stephanie Reese with whom he had a deep connection that was evident in every moment they shared and Harold Jones, Sr. (Brenda) whom he loved with all of his heart. The bond and love he shared with his brother, Marquese Washington, was unmatched. He was a constant source of support and love stepping in whenever needed with an open heart.
He also leaves behind his Uncle Frederick Wilson (Ebony), who held a special place in his heart. Benjamin looked up to his uncle in many ways, drawing wisdom from his words and comfort from their laughter. Their bond was one of admiration, respect, and a deep connection.
In addition to those mentioned previously, Benjamin also leaves behind his brothers Harold Jones Jr., Tyrone Jones (Erika) and Marquez Cooper (Sheila); sisters Vivian Prescott (Gary), Julia Jones (James), Lorita Jones-Green (Reginald), and Lynette Jones; aunts, uncles, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Benjamin will be missed deeply. May his legacy of love, wisdom, laughter, and strength live on through his family and all who had the honor of knowing him.
