Mother Annie Cannon Axson, 81, of Savannah, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 10, 2024, after a brief illness. She was born on November 24, 1942, in Shamrock, FL. to the late Mr. Albert Cannon, Sr. and Mrs. Evelena Cannon.

Mother Axson was known for being a devoted educator and prayer warrior who believed in the power of prayer. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She leaves to cherish her five children: Debbie Axson, Charles Axson Jr., Tricia Axson, Vernita Axson-Quarterman, and Thurman Axson; 11 grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Campbell & Sons Funeral Home, 124 West Park Avenue, Savannah, Ga. 31401

Funeral services will be held at: Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance Center, 4712 Bull Street on Saturday, August 17th at 12 noon.

Internment: First Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Midway, GA.
