We celebrate the life and memory of Mr. Lee William Curry whose death occurred Saturday, November 23, 2019 at his residence. Funeral arrangements will be announced promptly at a later date.
Lee W. Curry was a native of Savannah, GA and was the son of the late Emily Singleton Curry.
He was educated in the public schools of Chatham County. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran.
Lee was a member of Butler Memorial Presbyterian Church, where he served on the Men's Council and he sang with the H.L. Pinkney Gospel Choir.
Lee had a passion for gardening. He made sure everyone's yard in the neighborhood was well kept.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Evelyn Chaney Curry; a daughter, Barbara Ann Curry; three sons, Ricky Randall, Lee Allen Curry and Eric Leonard Curry; sisters-in-law, Margarette B. Chaney, Deborah Chaney Childs, Theresa Outler and Deborah Chaney; bothers-in-law, Edward Chaney, Ronald Chaney, Michael Chaney and Father Robert Chaney; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019 at
Butler Memorial Presbyterian Church
