We celebrate the life and memory of Evangelist Debra Swanson Gadson whose death occurred on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

When she received her Cross ….

On December 17, 1966 in Evans County, GA, Evangelist Debra E. Swanson Gadson was born to the Richard Sr. and Estean Swanson. She accepted Christ at an early age under the guidance of a Christian family.

Her time to Learn…

Lady Debra attended the public school of Evans County, and went on to become a Truck Operator. As the baby of her family, Debra would learn so much from her parents and older siblings. She would show that love that was given, to her children, family and friends.

Her time to Serve…

Lady Debra, accept Christ at a young age, at  Claxton Deliverance Temple, later starting her own ministry with her husband; Mountain of Holiness to God  a devoted member of Fresh Fire from Heaven Ministries of Savannah, where she served as an Evangelist. There she also served on the youth ministry, women’s ministry and intercessory prayer.

Her Time to Love …

On April 23, 1988, Sis. Debra Swanson united in Holy Matrimony with the Apostle Clarence Gadson Jr., and to this union three children, Clarence III, Nijah, and Elisha--were born. Her Christian life was as the fragrance of a beautiful rose, and aura of her devoted love will permeate in the lives of her children forever.

When she received her Crown….

On a beautiful, Sunday January 05, 2020, The Mighty Prayer Warrior Evangelist, Debra E. Swanson Gadson received her final orders, and reported for heavenly duty. While at home, preparing for service, and in devotion she bid her family farewell. She was preceded in death by her Father Richard Swanson Sr. and Sister Mariette Stewart.

She leaves many to cherish her memory, including: her hubsand; Apostle Clarence Gadson Jr. Children; Clarence (Shawntay)III, Nijah, and  Elisha Gadson; Mother; Esteen Swanson; two Sisters; Gloriette Williams, Stella(Tommy)Knight, two brothers; Richard Swanson Jr. and Derrick Stevenson, two aunt’s Ollie Mae Baker and Olivia Porter. Others holding dear her memories are: Grandchildren; Ni’Asia (Miss Pooh), Ni’jay (Fat-Daddy), Adrianna, Abrianna, Noah, and Sha’Kiyah Gadson. A Host of In-Laws, Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Seven foster kids, Shenika, Sha’Niyah, Charles, Jacob, Ty’kei, Jamel, and Crystal, A brother-in-law/son;Terrance Gadson.  

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Temple of Glory Community Church 

1105 Stiles Ave. ~ Savannah, GA 

Burial ~ Bonaventure Cemetery (Greenwich Section)

Visitation 6-8 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Mountain of Holiness Church 

1901 Linnhurst Dr. ~ Savannah, GA
